We are very happy to announce that after a four year hiatus, we are back!

Our CRO has been in demand and working abroad, then two years of lockdowns and uncertainty put a stop to the beloved hog roasting.

Don't let the cost of living put you off, we all need to enjoy ourselves while we can! A hog roast is a very cost effective way to feed a crowd and we aim to be as competitive as possible!

The website is currently being updated, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with any questions you have.

Hope to hear from you soon, enjoy the heatwave!

After a busy 2017 season, enquiries have already started for 2018. We aren't there yet though and there are limited dates available in November and December so please get in touch using the contact form.

The 2016 season is getting off to a slightly late start due to the CRO just getting back from seven weeks in America! Many miles were driven, and much barbecue was eaten!

As the UK weather is finally starting to improve, enquiries are coming in fast but availability is still good, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like a no obligation quote. Don't leave it too late, we are all about quality, not quantity, so can only do a limited number of jobs!

We did have a small gremlin in the contact form recently, so if you don't get a quick reply or have problems submitting the form please do email us directly.

2015 is heating up.....literally! Weddings and birthday parties are proving to be very popular so far. Lamb appears to be a popular choice after the traditional hog.

Limited dates left for hog roasts this summer. Please call to discuss availability.

Rocky Roasts is excited to announce the updated website is now up and running! Some subtle changes here and there, the most important one has been making it responsive for ease of viewing on smartphones and tablets. And the all new gallery which will be updated regularly as and when the CRO (who doesn't like technology) is feeling brave!

We take great pride in the quality of our hog roasts, our service and even our timekeeping! This is reflected in the lovely emails received after events, and the fact that almost half our business is word of mouth or repeat business.

Plans for the future include American style BBQ, see our services page for details, and a newly acquired catering trailer. Watch this space for details!

Our Roasting season during 2013 was our biggest yet! We served thousands of ravenous customers at weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, anniversaries, club & team parties and more. We traveled many miles across Kent and Surrey and met some lovely people that have since become new customers. A BIG thank you to all that used our services.

Calls are coming in for bookings in 2014 and we're making some exciting and tasty changes to our menu. Remember, we do the best hogs in the South East but we often get asked for BBQs, vegetarian and sweet options. We even had to hide one of our vegetarian haloumi options from sight as the hog lovers wanted it also!

Please contact us using the Contact Us form or call Alastair on 07926390759 to secure your date :)

Roast lovers, we are ramping up our marketing and our services with some very exciting additions coming soon.

Rocky Roasts started the Summer roasting season in true traditional style in May with the 2012 inaugurating wedding roast for 150 people in Sidcup. The roast was the main reception meal and we served up the hog, a selection of mouth watering salads, the infamous homemade stuffing, Kentish apple sauce and soft white baps.

Come and see us at the Wedding Experience 2012 in Detling, Kent (stand 202).

Weddings are one of the most special events in anyone's life. What isn't so special is the planning of the day itself; the clothing, the flowers, the cars, the guests, the vows and so on. Having seen the joy on all of the guests faces when they can see and smell a hog roast, this is the best way to take the pressure off on the day. And to save the headache of how to feed the scores of guests on the day, let Rocky Roasts do all the hard work. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, Rocky Roasts is guaranteed to please. We can cater for anywhere up to 300 guests ourselves and if you have more, we have preferred partners to ensure every guest is fed and happy! See you on Sunday.

Rocky Roasts has done the Christmas works do for a London company, consisting of a hog roast and barbecue with salads and rolls at Oxon Hoath, the famous landmark close the Rocky Roasts HQ. It was quite an honour to spend the day cooking in the shadow of such a grand house!

Alastair has just broken all personal records by feeding almost 500 people on the barbecue at the Offham Road Run. It is an annual event when all manner of bikes, classic cars, lorries and steam engines descend on Offham and cause chaos in the tiny village! This years turnout was better than ever, helped by the glorious weather.

Rocky Roasts turned up at a lovely house in rural East Sussex to do a hog roast for a house warming party, only to walk through the gate and see a full sized set of fairground bumper cars in the front garden! Alastair had a great time playing on them, but only after all the work was done!!
